Join the Walking Competition at PAYMENTS 2019 
in Orlando, FL May 5 - 8! 
Participate in some friendly competition amongst your peers as you work your way up the leaderboard and try to exceed the Competition Step Goals to win prizes!

 

The PAYMENTS Walking Competition starts on Monday, May 6 at 8:00 a.m. ET and ends on Wednesday, May 8 at 10:30 a.m. ET.  Participants can track their steps using their own personal Fitbit, Apple Watch, Garmin, or the step trackers integrated on their iPhone/Android smartphone via Apple Health or Google Fit. (i)

To join:
1) Download the Heka Walk App:
2) Complete the in-app registration and pairing process:
  • Launch the App and select the 'PAYMENTS Walking Competition' from the list of Walking Competitions/Challenges
  • Complete the registration fields
  • Pair your supported step tracker (see the Challenge FAQ Webpage for details)
3) Start Walking!
  • To sync your step data to the app, select 'Tap to sync steps' at the top of the dashboard
  • Note that your steps will only count from the time you first pair your step tracker
  • Please sync your step data at least one time a day as some data sources will not provide step data that is over 24 hours old

The top 25 steppers from the final leaderboard at the Competition will be entered into a random drawing to win one of five $100 Amazon gift cards.

 

DAILY SCAN-INS (5/6-5/7)

To support your Competition goals, please visit the following locations daily to scan-in the QR code with the app to earn bonus steps:(ii) 

  1. ​IBM booth #423        = 500 steps

  2. NACHA booth #517  = 250 steps

(i) The Walking Competition app requires iOS 9.0 and above on the following devices:  iPhone 4S and above, iPad Air, Mini, and 3rd & 4th generation iPads. Android requirements: Android 5.0 and above that have not been customized by the phone-tablet manufacturer.

(ii) To scan QR codes:

  1. Open the 'Heka Walk' app

  2. Press the Scan-In button located on the Walking Competition dashboard in the app. Note that you will need to allow the app access to your device's camera 

  3. Align the app viewer with the QR Code and the code will automatically be detected and confirmed
