PCMA is excited to announce its first Chapter Walking Challenge, in partnership with Caesars Entertainment and Heka Health!  Engage in some friendly competition with your fellow Chapters and PCMA members for some amazing prizes, promote a healthy lifestyle among your community, and most importantly, get active!

The Challenge begins on Monday April 10 at 9am CDT and runs through Wednesday April 12 at 4pm CDT.  Work your way up the leaderboard, and click on the Caesars Booster within the app for your chance to win 1 of 10 fabulous getaways courtesy of Caesars Entertainment, and a Walking Challenge program at your next event.

To participate:

​

1) Download the 'PCMA Walking Challenge' app in the Apple App or Google Play Stores

2) Complete the in-app registration process

        > Non-case sensitive activation code is:  pcma17

The PCMA Walking Challenge Mobile App supports attendees using their own FitBit, Jawbone or iPhone/Android smart phone step counters, as well as the red Caesars’ step trackers handed out at Convening Leaders. (i)

Winners will be notified on Thursday April 13 including instructions to redeem their prizes.  Prizes include the following:​​​

Winning Chapter based on largest average step count (i.e., total steps per Chapter team divided by number of Chapter participants)

  • 2 Education Conference registrations

  • PCMA Chapter Walking Challenge program for local chapter event in 2017 (ii)

  • 2 tickets to the Caesars Entertainment High Roller Experience in Las Vegas for each Chapter member

  • Caesars Wellness Gateways for the top three steppers within the chapter - see below

  • Caesars ultimate Wellness Getaway will include a 2 night-stay in the newly furbished Luxury Augustus Tower at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, Diamond Check-in and Diamond Lounge, Round-trip Limo Airport Transfer, entry to the world-renowned Qua Spa including a Spa Treatment for Two, 2 tickets to the Caesars Entertainment High Roller Experience, and a Helicopter Experience over the Las Vegas strip for two.

(i) The Walking Challenge app requires iOS 9.0 and above on the following devices:  iPhone 4S and above, iPad Air, Mini, and 3rd & 4th generation iPads. Android requirements: Android 4.3 and above that have not been customized by the phone-tablet manufacturer. Users may also use their own FitBit, Jawbone or iPhone/Android smart phone step counters.​

(ii) PCMA Chapter Walking Challenge program includes: ​

  • Engaging up to 100 Challenge participants, over a 1 to 5 day period

  • Custom branded leaderboard

  • PCMA Walking Challenge app with personalized activation code

  • Challenge program session with Heka Health staff

  • Program must be completed by December 31, 2017 and not overlap with other national PCMA Walking Challenges

  • Additional program customization (e.g. custom tracker) are available for an extra charge

(iii) Heka Walking Challenge program includes: ​

  • Engaging up to 100 Challenge participants, over a 1 to 5 day period

  • Custom branded leaderboard

  • Heka Walk app with personalized activation code

  • Challenge program session with Heka Health staff

  • Program must be completed by December 31, 2017

  • Additional program customization (e.g. custom tracker) are available for an extra charge
