Join the Transamerica WFG Walking Challenge
October 16-30, 2021

Participate in some friendly competition with your peers as you work your way up the leaderboard and try to reach and exceed the Challenge Step Goals to win prizes!

The Transamerica WFG Walking Challenge starts: Saturday, October 16 at 12:01 a.m. ET
and ends Saturday, October 30 at 11:59 p.m. ET

Participants can track their steps using their own personal Fitbit, Apple Watch, Garmin, or the step trackers integrated on their iPhone/Android smartphone via Apple Health or Google Fit. *

TO JOIN:

1) Download the Heka Well Challenge app:

2) Launch the Heka Well app and select the Transamerica WFG Walking Challenge from the list of Challenges

3) Complete the Registration, User Profile and Pairing process:

Register: Create an account. Enter your email and a password.
If you already have a Heka Well Challenge account, you may use your existing credentials. "Tap Here If You Already Have an Account" on the Registration screen and log in.
User Profile: Choose a Nickname and distance unit
Pair your supported activity tracker (see the FAQ for details)

4) Start Walking!

To sync your step/activity data to the app, select 'Tap to sync steps' at the top of the dashboard
Note that your steps will only count from the time you first pair your activity tracker
Please sync your step data at least one time per 24 hour period and before the Challenge end time to make sure all your steps count!

INCENTIVES AND PRIZES

Step Levels

All participants that reach the following step levels will be entered into a random drawing for prizes. You will be entered into the drawing only for the highest step bracket you reach.

120K+ Step level (~8K steps/day): Ten (10) random winners get special order designer sunglasses and a Transamerica hat

187K+ Step level (~13K steps/day): Ten (10) random winners get special order designer sunglasses and a Transamerica pullover.

225K+ Step level (~15K steps/day): Five (5) random winners get special order designer sunglasses, a workout bag, and a Transamerica pullover

Top Steppers

The Top 3 participants who have the greatest number of cumulative steps on the Leaderboard at the end of the Challenge will win sunglasses, a pull over, a gym bag and $250 to the Transamerica store.

Prize winners will be announced the week of November 1.

CHALLENGE LEADERBOARD

The Leaderboard, also available in the Heka Well app, displays the Top 25 steppers. It is refreshed every 10-15 minutes after the Challenge begins
