Join the Walking Challenge at Pharmacy Education 2019 in Chicago, IL July 13 - 16!
Participate in some friendly competition amongst your peers as you work your way up the leaderboard and try to exceed the Challenge Step Goals to win prizes!
The Walking Challenge starts on Saturday, July 13 at 7:00 a.m. CT and ends on Tuesday, July 16 at 11:59 p.m. CT. Participants can track their steps using their own personal Fitbit, Apple Watch, Garmin, or the step trackers integrated on their iPhone/Android smartphone via Apple Health or Google Fit. (i)
To join:
1) Download the "Heka Walk" app:
2) Launch the App and Select 'AACP' from the list of Challenges

Complete the registration fields

Pair your supported step tracker (see the Challenge FAQ Webpage for details)
3) Start Walking!

To sync your step data to the app, select "Tap to sync steps" at the top of the dashboard

Note that your steps will only count from the time you first pair your step tracker

Please sync your step data at least one time a day as some data sources will not provide step data that is over 24 hours old
DAILY SCAN-IN TO EARN BONUS STEPS
To support your Challenge goals, use the Challenge App and visit the following locations to Scan-In daily for a step boost:
Sunday, July 14: 3:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.
Monday, July 15: 9:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.

Pearson Booth #113 = 400 step boost
Riverside Exhibit Hall (Exhibit Level, East Tower)
July 14 -16, 6:30 a.m. – 7:30 a.m.

Fitness Activity: Sunrise Yoga = 200 step boost
Plaza Ballroom (Lobby Level, East Tower)
To Scan In QR codes: Select the Scan-In button located on the main dashboard of the Walking Challenge App. Note that you will need to allow the App access to your device's camera. Align the app viewer with the QR Code and the code will automatically be detected and confirmed.
STEP GOAL PRIZES
All participants that reach a Challenge Step Goal Level at the conclusion of the Challenge will be entered into a drawing for a prize. If you reach one of the following Step Levels, you will be entered into the drawing only for that bracket:

30K Steps - One (1) random winner receives a $25 Amazon Gift Card

40K Steps - One (1) random winner receives a $50 Amazon Gift Card

60K Steps - One (1) random winner receives a $100 Amazon Gift Card
Winners will be announced on social media Wednesday, July 17.
(i) The Walking Challenge app requires iOS 9.0 and above on the following devices: iPhone 4S and above, iPad Air, Mini, and 3rd & 4th generation iPads. Android requirements: Android 5.0 and above that have not been customized by the phone-tablet manufacturer.
