Join the CardioSmart Walking Challenge at ACC.18 
March 10-12, 2018 in Orlando FL

The Challenge has been graciously supported by Actelion to encourage attendees to engage in healthy activities, some friendly competition, and win some great prizes.

CardioSmart will be giving out free Bluetooth connected step trackers to the first 100 participants that come to the Walking Challenge booth located in the Hall C lobby (i) 

The CardioSmart Walking Challenge will start on Saturday, March 10 at Noon ET and end on Monday, March 12 at 2:00 pm ET.   Participants can track their steps using their own personal Fitbit, Jawbone, Apple Watch, Garmin, or the step trackers integrated on your iPhone/Android smart phone (ii)
TO JOIN:
1) Download the ACC Walking Challenge app
  • Click here to download the app from the Apple App Store

  • Click here to download the app from the Google Play Store

2) Complete the in-app registration and pairing process

  • Launch the Challenge app and complete registration fields

    • The activation code for the Challenge is:  acc18

  • Pair your supported step tracker (see the Challenge FAQ Webpage for details)

    • FITBIT USERS:  please sync your steps to your Fitbit app before pairing your Fitbit data to this Challenge app

3) Start Walking! 

  • To sync your step data to the app, select "Tap to sync steps" at the top of the dashboard

Scan the QR Codes at Actelion's Expo booth (#1027) each day and receive the following bonus steps to support your Challenge efforts (iii)

  • 1st day scan:  1K bonus steps

  • 2nd day scan:  2K bonus steps

  • 3rd day scan:  3K bonus steps

Prize for top steppers is an Amazon Echo.  2nd & 3rd place steppers win an Amazon Dot.

(i)

To qualify for the Walking Challenge you must be a registered ACC.18 event attendee.

(ii)

The Walking Challenge app requires iOS 9.0 and above on the following devices:  iPhone 4S and above, iPad Air, Mini, and 3rd & 4th generation iPads. Android requirements: Android 4.5 and above that have not been customized by the phone-tablet manufacturer. Users may also use their own FitBit, Jawbone or iPhone/Android smart phone step counters.

(iii)

To scan:  select the 'CardioSmart Scan-In' button located on the main dashboard of the Challenge app and then the 'Capture QR Code' link on the scan-in app page.  Simply align the scan-in camera viewer with the QR code and it will be automatically detected and provide you with the results page
