Step up to the ACEP 2019 Wellness Challenge in Denver, CO
October 27- 30, 2019!
Participate in some friendly competition amongst your peers as you work your way up the leaderboard and try to exceed the Challenge Step Goals and win prizes!
The Wellness Challenge starts on Sunday, October 27 at noon MT and ends on Tuesday, October 29 at 3:30 p.m MT. Participants can track their steps using their own personal Fitbit, Apple Watch, Garmin, or the step trackers integrated on their iPhone/Android smartphone via Apple Health or Google Fit. (i)
1) Download the 'Heka Walk' Challenge app:
2) Launch the App and select 'ACEP Wellness Challenge' from the list of Walking Challenges and complete the registration and pairing process:

3) Start Walking!
To sync your step data to the app, select 'Tap to sync steps' at the top of the dashboard
Note that your steps will only count from the time you first pair your step tracker
Please sync your step data at least one time per 24 hour period and before the Challenge end time to make sure all your steps count!
DAILY SCAN-IN TO EARN BONUS STEPS
To help you support your Challenge goals, scan the two (2) QR codes daily using the Wellness Challenge App at the following locations throughout the Expo, and receive 500 bonus steps at each scan: (ii)
EM Recruits (booth #1217)
The first 100 steppers to visit booth #1416 from 9:30 on Sunday, October 27 will receive a Free Fitness tracker!

WELLNESS CHALLENGE PRIZES
The top 3 steppers that are on the final cumulative leaderboard and have scanned-in for bonus steps at both booths (R1 and EM Recruits) at the end of the Challenge will win:

$150 Spa & Wellness Gift Card from R1

(i) The Walking Challenge app requires iOS 9.0 and above on the following devices: iPhone 4S™ and above, iPad Air™, Mini, and 3rd & 4th generation iPads™. Android requirements: Android 5.0™ and above that have not been customized by the phone-tablet manufacturer.
(ii) To scan QR codes:
Open the 'Heka Walk' Challenge app
Press the Scan-In button located on the Walking Challenge dashboard in the app. Note that you will need to allow the app access to your device's camera
Align the app viewer with the QR Code and the code will automatically be detected and confirmed
