Join the Wellness Challenge during the ACS Clinical Congress
October 24-27, 2021
Participate in some friendly competition with your peers as you work your way up the leaderboard and try to reach the Challenge Step Levels for a chance to win prizes!
The ACS Wellness Challenge starts on Sunday, October 24 at 12:01 a.m. CDT and ends on Wednesday, October 27 at 11:59 p.m. CDT. Participants can track their steps using their own personal Fitbit, Apple Watch, Garmin, or the step trackers integrated on their iPhone/Android smartphone via Apple Health or Google Fit. *
To join:
1) Download the "Heka Well" Challenge app:
2) Complete the registration, user profile, and pairing process:

Launch the Challenge app and select the "ACS Wellness Challenge" from the list of Challenges

Complete the Registration and User Profile forms

Pair your supported activity tracker. Refer to the Challenge FAQ for details
3) Start Stepping!

To sync your step/activity data to the app, select "Tap to sync steps" at the top of the dashboard

Note that your steps will only count from the time you first pair your activity tracker

Please sync your step data at least one time per day and before the Challenge ends to make sure all your steps count!
BONUS ACTIVITIES
Engage in activities and earn bonus steps to help you achieve your goals. Once the Challenge has started, press the Bonus Activities** selector in the Heka Well Challenge App.
Scan-In: Scan the QRs at the following locations to earn bonus steps:
1. Welcome to the Wellness Challenge! - Visit the ACS Clinical Congress Welcome page and scan the QR code to receive your one-time 1,000-step boost.
2. Convocation Ceremony - Attend the virtual Convocation on Sunday, October 24 and scan the QR code available here after the event and earn your one-time 2,000-step bonus.
CHALLENGE PRIZES
Step Level Prizes: All participants who reach the cumulative Step Goal Levels listed below will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win a prize. You will only be entered into the drawing for the highest level you have reached at the end of the Challenge. One winner per Step Level.

Level 3: 80K+ steps: one (1) winner of a $250 AMEX gift card

Level 2: 60K+ steps: one (1) winner of a $250 AMEX gift card

Level 1: 40K+ steps: one (1) winner of a $250 AMEX gift card
Challenge prize winners will be contacted via email.
LEADERBOARD
The ACS Wellness Challenge Leaderboard (also available within the app) is refreshed approximately every 10 minutes once the Challenge has started.
