Join the Wellness Challenge at the ISM 2019 Annual Conference September 22-25 in Milwaukee, WI!

Participate in some friendly competition amongst your peers as you work your way up the leaderboard and try to exceed the Challenge Step Goals to win prizes!

The Wellness Challenge starts on Sunday, September 22 at 8:00 a.m. CT and ends on Wednesday, September 25 at 10:00 a.m. CT. Participants can track their steps using their own personal Fitbit, Apple Watch, Garmin, or the step trackers integrated on their iPhone/Android smartphone via Apple Health or Google Fit. (i)​

To join:

​

1) Download the 'Heka Walk' App:

​

2) Launch the App and complete the registration and pairing process:

  • Launch the Challenge app and select the 'APHSA Wellness  Challenge' from the list of Walking Challenges

  • Complete the registration fields and pair your supported step tracker (see the Challenge FAQ Webpage for details)

3) Start Walking!

  • To sync your step data to the app, select 'Tap to sync steps' at the top of the dashboard

  • Note that your steps will only count from the time you first pair your step tracker

  • Please sync your step data at least one time per 24 hour period and before the Challenge end time to make sure all your steps count!

 

SCAN IN TO EARN BONUS STEPS

To help you support your Challenge goals, scan the two (2) QR codes daily using the Challenge App at the following locations and earn bonus steps at each scan: (ii)

  • APHSA (booth 537) - 250 bonus steps

  • Deloitte (booth 219) - 500 bonus steps

​​

CHALLENGE PRIZES

​

1) All participants that are in the Final Top 10 of the cumulative leaderboard are entered into a drawing for one of three prizes:

​

  • 22 oz Soundwave Vacuum Audio Bottle, Bluetooth Speaker

  • $150 Amazon gift card provided by APHSA

​

2) All participants that reach 35K steps by the end of the Challenge are entered into a drawing for one of two prizes:

 

  • Choice of one Deloitte Branded Phone Charger OR a Power Bar Phone Charger 

  • Deloitte Water Bottle

  • $75 Amazon gift card provided by APHSA

​

3) ​All participants that reach 20K steps by the end of the Challenge are entered into a drawing for one of six prizes:

​

  • One pair Deloitte Branded Wireless Earbuds

  • $25 Amazon gift card provided by APHSA

 

Prizes will be awarded on Wednesday, September 25, at 10:30 in the Closing Session.

(i) The Walking Challenge app requires iOS 9.0 and above on the following devices:  iPhone 4S and above, iPad Air, Mini, and 3rd & 4th generation iPads. Android requirements: Android 5.0 and above that have not been customized by the phone-tablet manufacturer.

(ii) To scan QR codes:

  1. Open the 'APHSA Wellness Challenge' app

  2. Press the Scan-In button located on the Walking Challenge dashboard in the app. Note that you will need to allow the app access to your device's camera 

  3. Align the app viewer with the QR Code and the code will automatically be detected and confirmed
