Thank you for participating in Medtronic's CheckYourBP station at EuroPCR .  For those attendees that qualified for the Medtronic Wireless Activity Tracker please view the instructions below.

 

To utilize your Wireless Activity Tracker please follow the steps below:  

1)  Setup tracker 

  • Charge the tracker 'pod' with the micro USB cord included in white box

  • After one hour of charging, place the tracker 'pod' in blue band and secure with Medtronic silver clasp

 

2)  Download the Heka Walk app from the iTunes or Google Play Store

  • Click here to download the app from the Apple App Store 

  • Click here to download the app from the Google Play Store

3) Complete in-app registration process

  • Launch the Heka Walk app, select "Medtronic" Challenge or enter in the non-case sensitive activation code:  medtronic

  • Pair your step tracker to the app by clicking your tracker serial number (printed on the box you received your tracker in) that comes up on the 'Select Tracker' page

    • If you do not see your serial number appear on the page, pull down the page view to refresh. 

    • Once paired, your app will display the main Walking Challenge dashboard.  Note that you can un-pair your tracker by going to ‘Account Settings’ within the navigation menu located in the top right corner of the dashboard.

  • Participants can also track their steps using their own personal Fitbit, Apple Watch, Garmin, or the step trackers integrated on your iPhone/Android smart phone (i)

4) Start Walking! 

  • To sync your step data to the app, select "Tap to sync steps" at the top of the dashboard

  • Click the menu button on the top right corner of the app dashboard to view see additional functionality including the Medtronic Leaderboard

The Challenge app requires iOS 9.0 and above on the following devices: 

  • iPhone 4S and above, iPad Air, Mini, and 3rd & 4th generation iPads.

  • Android 4.5 and above that have not been customized by the phone-tablet manufacturer.

To scan:  select the 'Scan-In' button located on the main dashboard of the Challenge app and then the 'Capture QR Code' link on the scan-in app page.  Simply align the scan-in camera viewer with the QR code and it will be automatically detected and provide you with the results page
