Join the F5 Wellness Challenge
November 9-12, 2020
Participate in some friendly competition with your peers as you work your way up the Wellness Leaderboards while walking, running a 5K or engaging in other wellness activities.
The F5 Wellness Challenge opens on Monday, Nov. 9 and closes on Thursday, Nov. 12
Participants can track their steps using their own personal Fitbit, Apple Watch, Garmin, or the step trackers integrated on their iPhone/Android smartphone via Apple Health or Google Fit.
1) Download the "Heka Walk" app here:
2) Complete the in-app registration:
Launch the Challenge app and select the "F5 Wellness Challenge" from the list of Challenges
Pair your supported activity tracker. (Please refer to the Challenge FAQ for additional instructions and information.)
3) Start Walking!
To sync your activity data to the app, select "Tap to sync steps" at the top of the dashboard
Note that your steps will only count from the time you first pair your activity tracker
Please sync your step data at least one time per 24 hour period and before the Challenge end time to make sure all your steps count!
4) Run your 5K!
5K run times can only be recorded in the app after the official event start time!
Submit as many 5K times as you like between Monday, Nov. 9 and Thursday, Nov. 12
Only your best submitted 5K run time will display on the Leaderboard
Once the event has started, press the "Bonus Activities" selector ** in the Challenge App to select one of the following:
5K: Complete your 5K run and report your finish time using the in-app log. You will also earn an additional 1,000 bonus steps for your first submission only. (Note: The 5K button will not show up in the app until the Challenge begins on Nov. 9)
Meditate: Put on your headset, find a quiet location that suits you best, and using the meditation module in the Challenge app go through the seven minute meditation session. You will receive 500 bonus steps when you complete the session (limit of one bonus per day).
Top Steppers: The10 participants with the highest number of cumulative steps on the Wellness Leaderboard will be entered into a drawing for a prize!
5K: All participants who submit at least one 5K run time will be entered into a drawing for a prize!
Winners and prizes will be announced on November 13
Follow the group's progress on the Top Stepper and 5K Leaderboards available in the Challenge app and on the virtual event Wellness Page.

** Bonus Activities:
On the Challenge app's main dashboard, tap the Bonus Activities selector.
Press the 5K or the Meditate button and follow the app instruction to receive your bonus steps.
