Join the third annual HNHN Walking Challenge at the ANCC 2019 National Magnet Conference® in Orlando, FL
The Challenge is proudly sponsored by Stryker and encourages attendees to engage in healthy activities, some friendly competition, and win prizes.
FREE ANCC MAGNET BLUETOOTH ACTIVITY TRACKERS will be given to the first 600 registrants that stop by the Walking Challenge booth, near registration starting on Wednesday, October 9 at 3:00 p.m. ET.
In addition to supporting the MAGNET Bluetooth activity trackers provided at the conference, the HNHN Walking Challenge App also supports attendees using their own personal Fitbit, Apple Watch, Garmin, or the step trackers integrated on their iPhone/Android smartphone via Apple Health or Google Fit. (i)
The Challenge starts at 10:45 a.m. ET on Thursday, October 10 and ends at 11:59 p.m. ET on Friday, October 11.
To join:
1) Download the 'HNHN Walking Challenge' app:
2) Launch the App and complete the registration and pairing process:

To pair your FREE ANCC Magnet step tracker, please refer to the Custom Tracker Instructions

3) Start Walking!

To sync your step data to the app, select "Tap to sync steps" at the top of the dashboard

Note that your steps will only count from the time you first pair your step tracker

Please sync your step data at least one time per 24 hour period and before the Challenge end time to make sure all your steps count!
To help you reach your Challenge goals, scan the QR code using the Challenge App at the Stryker booth (#1001) each day and receive bonus steps:

1st day scan: 1,000 bonus steps

2nd day scan: 1,500 bonus steps

Stryker survey scan: 2,000 bonus steps (fill out survey on any of your Stryker booth visits for this additional bonus)
CHALLENGE STEP LEVEL PRIZES

First 200 participants to reach 20K steps and stop by the Walking Challenge booth will receive an ANCC Magnet Pin to wear with pride

First 150 participants to reach 30K steps and stop by the Walking Challenge booth will receive a ticket for reserved seating at final General session
FINAL LEADERBOARD PRIZES

Top Steppers 9 -11 will win an ANCC Leather Planner

Top Steppers 4 - 8 will win a $25 gift card for the ANCC online store

Top 3 Steppers will win a Visa $100 gift card
The final leaderboard prizes will be awarded at the prize ceremony on Saturday, October 12 at 10:45 a.m. ET at the Hydration Station (booth #1101). Must be present to win.
SCAN IN TO EARN BONUS STEPS

(i) The Walking Challenge app requires iOS 9.0 and above on the following devices: iPhone 4S and above, iPad Air, Mini, and 3rd & 4th generation iPads. Android requirements: Android 5.0 and above that have not been customized by the phone-tablet manufacturer.
(ii) To scan QR codes:

Press the Scan-In button located on the Walking Challenge dashboard in the app. Note that you will need to allow the app access to your device's camera

Align the app viewer with the QR Code and the code will automatically be detected and confirmed
