Join the Physical Activity Challenge at the
2019 Fall Conference in Providence, RI November 7 - 8!
Participate in some friendly competition amongst your peers as you work your way up the leaderboard and try to exceed the Challenge Step Goals to win prizes!
The Physical Activity Challenge starts on Thursday, November 7 at 4:00 a.m. ET and ends on Friday, November 8 at noon ET. Participants can track their steps using their own personal Fitbit, Apple Watch, Garmin, or the step trackers integrated on their iPhone/Android smartphone via Apple Health or Google Fit. (i)
To join:
1) Download the 'Heka Walk' app:
2) Launch the App and complete the registration and pairing process:

Launch the Challenge app and select the 'NEACSM Activity Challenge' from the list of Walking Challenges

Complete the registration fields and pair your supported step tracker (see the Challenge FAQ Webpage for details)
3) Start Walking!

To sync your step data to the app, select 'Tap to sync step' at the top of the dashboard

Note that your steps will only count from the time you first pair your step tracker

Please sync your step data at least one time per 24 hour period and before the Challenge end time to make sure all your steps count!
FINAL LEADERBOARD PRIZES
1) Top 5 college teams on the final cumulative College Team leaderboard will be entered into a drawing with a chance to win a free entry to College Bowl 2020.
2) All individual participants that are on the final cumulative leaderboard (Top 25) will be entered into a drawing for one of the prizes listed below:
