Join the Walking Challenge at the
Philips IGTD National Sales Meeting
Nashville, Tennessee
February 4 - 7, 2019

Participate in some friendly competition amongst your peers as you work your way up the leaderboard and try to exceed the Challenge Step Goals to win prizes!

 

The Walking Challenge starts on Monday, Feb. 4 at noon CST and ends on Thursday, Feb. 7 at 11:59 p.m. CST. Participants can track their steps using their own personal Fitbit, Apple Watch, Garmin, or the step trackers integrated on their iPhone/Android smartphone via Apple Health or Google Fit. (i)

To join:
1) Download the Heka Walk Challenge app:
 
 
2) Complete the in-app registration and pairing process:
  • Launch the Challenge app select the "Philips IGTD NSM" from the list of Walking Challenges
  • Complete the registration fields
  • Pair your supported step tracker (see the Challenge FAQ Webpage for details)
3) Start Walking!
  • To sync your step data to the app, select "Tap to sync steps" at the top of the dashboard
  • Note that your steps will only count from the time you first pair your step tracker
  • Please sync your step data at least one time a day as some data sources will not provide step data that is over 24 hours old

SCAN-IN TO EARN BONUS STEPS

 

Be on the lookout for an opportunity to boost your step count by +2000 steps per day. Two QR codes will be placed throughout the Opryland, but you must solve the riddle to find the location of each step booster. Where are these riddles? Make sure that you are reading your daily NSM communications for a chance to crack the code. (ii)

(i) The Walking Challenge app requires iOS 9.0 and above on the following devices:  iPhone 4S and above, iPad Air, Mini, and 3rd & 4th generation iPads. Android requirements: Android 5.0 and above that have not been customized by the phone-tablet manufacturer.

(ii) To scan QR codes:

  1. Open the 'Heka Walk Challenge' app

  2. Press the Scan-In button located on the Walking Challenge dashboard in the app

  3. Select 'Capture QR Code' (you will need to allow the app access to your device's camera) 

  4. Align the app viewer with the QR Code and the code will automatically be detected and confirmed
