Participate in the Walking Challenge during the
Transamerica 2020 Convention and you could win prizes!

Participate in some friendly competition amongst your peers as you work your way up the leaderboard and try to exceed the Challenge Step Goals to win prizes!

The Walking Challenge:

Starts: Wednesday, 3/4 at 2:00 p.m. ET

Ends: Sunday, 3/8 at 11:59 p.m. ET

 

Participants can track their steps using their own personal Fitbit, Apple Watch, Garmin, or the step trackers integrated on their iPhone/Android smartphone via Apple Health or Google Fit. *​

To join:

​

1) Download the 'Heka Walk' app:

2) Complete the registration and pairing process:

  • Launch the Challenge app and select the 'Transamerica Convention' from the list of Challenges

  • Pair your supported activity tracker (see the Challenge FAQ Webpage for details)

3) Start Walking!

  • To sync your step/activity data to the app, select 'Tap to sync steps' at the top of the dashboard

  • Note that your steps will only count from the time you first pair your activity tracker

  • Please sync your step data at least one time per 24 hour period and before the Challenge end time to make sure all your steps count!

Remember to stop by the Transamerica Registration/Hospitality Desk and scan the QR code using the Challenge App and earn 1K bonus steps each day during the Challenge. **

STEP GOAL PRIZES

​

All participants that reach a step level will be entered into a drawing for a prize.

​

If you reach one of the following step levels, you will be entered into the drawing only for that step bracket.

​

​

  • 45K+ step level - (4) Four random winners get a $50 Amazon gift card

​

  • 60K+ step level - (3) Three random winners get a $75 Amazon gift card

​

  • 75K+ step level - (2) Two random winners get a $100 Amazon gift card

​

* Apps are supported on the three most recent major iOS versions and the four most recent major Android OS versions that have not been customized by the manufacturer.

** To scan QR codes:

  1. Open the Challenge app and press the Scan-In button located on the main dashboard (note that you will need to allow the app access to your device's camera).

  2. Align the app viewer with the QR Code and the code will automatically be detected and confirmed.
