Join the 2019 AF OREF Inaugural Fellows In Training (FIT) Bootcamp Walking Challenge in Rosemont, IL September 19 - 21, 2019!
Participate in some friendly competition amongst your peers as you
work your way up the Leaderboard.
The Challenge will start on Thursday, September 19 at noon CT and ends on Friday, September 20 at 11:59 p.m. CT.
FREE AF OREF activity trackers will be given away to all event attendees that participate in the Challenge. Stop by the Registration Desk on Thursday before noon to pick up your tracker.
In addition to supporting the AF OREF activity trackers provided at the conference, the Challenge App also supports attendees using their own FitBit, Apple Watch, Garmin, or the activity trackers integrated on their iPhone/Android smartphone via Apple Health or Google Fit. (i).
To join please:
1) Download the 'Heka Walk' App:
2) Complete the in-app registration and pairing process

Launch the Heka Walk App and select 'AF-OREF FIT Walk' from the list of Walking Challenges

Complete the in-app registration process and pair your supported activity tracker

To pair your AF OREF activity tracker, please refer to the Custom Tracker Instructions

3) Start Walking!

To sync your step data to the app, select 'Tap to sync steps' at the top of the dashboard

Please SYNC YOUR STEP DATA AT LEAST ONE TIME PER DAY as some data sources will not provide step data that is over 24 hours old

Note that your steps will only count from the time you first pair your step tracker

Click the menu button on the top right corner of the app dashboard to see additional functionality including an in-app leaderboard
(i) The Walking Challenge app requires iOS 9.0 and above on the following devices: iPhone 4S and above, iPad Air, Mini, and 3rd & 4th generation iPads. Android requirements: Android 5.0 and above that have not been customized by the phone-tablet manufacturer.
