The Hero Hustle Step Challenge starts on Friday, October 7 at 12:01 a.m. CT and ends on Saturday, October 15 at 11:59 p.m. CT.  

​

To join please:  

​

1) Download the "Heka Well" Challenge app:

2) Set up your Challenge Account (This account set up is in addition to your ChronoTrack registration!)

  • Launch the Heka Well app and select and select one of the following Challenge programs based on your age:

    • “Hero Hustle Ages 18 Above"​

    • “Hero Hustle Ages 17 Under”

  • Complete the in-app registration process
  • Pair your step tracker

​

3) Start Walking and Syncing! 

  • To sync your step data to the app, select "Tap to sync steps" at the top of the Summary tab​  

    • Please make sure you are actively logged into the Challenge app and ​SYNC YOUR STEP DATA FREQUENTLY, AT LEAST ONE TIME PER DAY as some data sources will not provide step data that is over 24 hours old

    • Note that your steps will only count from the time you first pair your step tracker

BONUS ACTIVITIES 

 

Engage in fun Wellness activities and earn bonus steps to help you achieve your goals. Once the Challenge has started, just press the "Bonus Activities" selector ** in the Heka Well Challenge App and select Scan-In.

Scan-In:  Scan the QR codes daily using the Challenge App at the following locations and receive 500 bonus steps at each scan:

​

  1. Team Trux  - 1009 Waukegan Rd.

  2. Weiss Ace Hardware - 1560 Waukegan Rd.

  3. Wildbirds - 1460 Waukegan Rd.

  4. Troop 55 

  5. Blended - 950 Harlem Ave.

  6. Glenview Police Department - 2500 E. Lake Ave.

  7. Joe Donut - 1025 Harlem Ave.

  8. Antalee Wellness Spa – 1352 Patriot Blvd.

  9. Sunset Foods - 1127 Church St., Northbrook

  10. Gusto Italiano  - 1834 Glenview Rd.

  11. Johnny’s Kitchen and Tap - 1740 Milwaukee Ave.

  12. Glenview Park District Park Center – 2400 Chestnut Avenue

  13. Glenview Golf Course – 800 Shermer Rd.

  14. Josie’s Nail Spa – 2536 Waukegan Rd.

CHALLENGE  PRIZES

 

All participants within the Hero Hustle Ages 18 Above or Hero Hustle Ages 17 Under group who reach the cumulative Step Goal Level of 90K by the end of the Challenge will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win a prize.

Prizes include certificates or gift cards to: Gusto Italiano, Hanger Two, Antalee Wellness Center and Spa, Blended, Jewel Osco, Lettuce Entertain You, PF Changs, UB Spa Nails,  Valley Lodge, LifeTime, Glenview Park District, Glenview Park Golf Course, The Glen Club, Wild Birds, Waterway.

All prize winners will be notified via email.
