Join the APG Wellness Challenge
in San Diego May 31-June 2

Participate in a range of wellness activities and enjoy some healthy competition with your peers. Earn chances to win prizes for reaching Challenge Goals and working your way up the leaderboard.


The APG Wellness Challenge starts on Wednesday, May 31 at 12:01 a.m. PT and ends on Friday, June 2 at 8:30 a.m. PT. 



1) Download the "Heka Well" Challenge app:

2) Set up your Challenge Account:

  • Launch the Challenge app and select the APG Wellness Challenge from the list

  • Complete the in-app registration

  • Pair your supported activity tracker 
  • The Challenge app also tracks step data from Fitbit, Apple Watch, or Garmin.

3) Start Walking!

  • To sync your step data to the app, select 'Tap to sync steps' at the top of the dashboard

  • Please sync your step data at least one time per 24 hour period and before the Challenge end time to make sure all your steps count!

Engage in wellness activities and earn bonus points to help you achieve your goals. You will earn bonus points for each completed activity. Once the Challenge has started, tap the Bonus Activities button ** in the Challenge app to:

Scan-In: Use the in-app Scan-In module, and Scan QR codes to get a point boost. You can find the codes at the following locations:

1. Yoga Class: Attend the morning class and scan in for 1,000 bonus points. 

- June 1 at 7:00 AM - 7:45 AM  

- June 2 at 7:00 AM - 7:45 AM 

2. Breakfast and Product ShowcaseHow Positive Peer Pressure Addresses SBDoH, Improves Outcomes and Increase Member Retention Rates Presented by Wider Circle.

- June 1 at 7:45 AM - 8:15 AM = 1,000 bonus points

3. Exhibit Fair and Strolling Dinner, June 1 at 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM: Explore the Exhibit Hall and keep your eyes open for 2 QR codes and scan each for 1,000 bonus points.

Location of all events is available on the Conference app.

Meditate: Put on your headset, find a quiet location that suits you best, and use the meditation in the Challenge app to go through the seven-minute meditation session. During the active Challenge period, you will receive 1,000 bonus points for each meditation session you complete (limit of one bonus per day during the Challenge). 

Nutrition: Learn about new and easy ways to prepare healthy snacks and meals for the whole family with better ingredients while minimizing added sugar. Presented by nutritionist and the best selling author of Half the Sugar, All the Love, Jennifer Tyler Lee. These five nutrition video sessions will be viewable in the app. Receive a one-time bonus of 500 points for each completed class.​ (Limit of 2,500 bonus points for watching all 5 videos during the Challenge.)​

Final Leaderboard Prize


One random drawing winner from the Top 3 point achievers on the final cumulative leaderboard will receive a prize:

  • $500 gift card

Daily Challenge Prizes


The top 25 point achievers in a single day (for May 31 and June 1) will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win $100 gift card +  a copy of the Half the Sugar, All the Love cookbook.​


Daily Challenge prize winners will be announced in daily eblasts at 7:30 a.m. PT on June 1 and June 2.

Participation Prizes


At the end of the Challenge, all participants will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win 1 of 5 $50 gift cards + a copy of the Half the Sugar, All the Love cookbook.​

Prize winners will be announced on June 2 after the Challenge has ended and will be notified via email. APG employees, volunteers and event staff are not eligible for prizes. Maximum of one prize per Wellness Challenge participant. 




The Leaderboard (also viewable in the app) rotates among the top 25 achievers and is refreshed approximately every 10 minutes once the Challenge has started.

  1. On the Challenge app's main dashboard, tap the Bonus Activities selector.

  2. Press the Scan-In , Meditate, or the Nutrition button and follow the app instruction to receive your bonus.
