Join the Modesto Junior College Movement is Medicine Challenge and enjoy some healthy competition with your peers as you work your way up the leaderboard and earn chances to win prizes.
The Challenge starts on Monday, August 19 at 12:01 a.m. PT and ends Sunday, December 15 at 11:59 p.m. PT.

2) Setup your Challenge account

Launch the Heka Well app and select the "MJC Movement is Medicine" Challenge from the list

Complete the in-app registration process and pair your supported activity tracker

Anyone with a smartphone* can track their steps:

Apple iPhone: select iPhone

Android Phone: utilizing your Google Account with your phone or Google Fit app or Samsung Health via Google's beta version of Health Connect

The Challenge app also tracks step data from Fitbit, Garmin and Apple Watch

3) Start moving!

To sync your movement data to the app, select "Tap to sync points" at the top of the dashboard.

Please sync your point data at least one time per 24 hour period and before the Challenge end time to make sure all your points count!

BONUS ACTIVITIES
Once the Challenge has started, tap the "Bonus Activities" button at the bottom of the Challenge App** and then select:
Activity Log: Engage in various activities in addition to walking such as aerobics, stretching, rowing, basketball, kickboxing, using a wheelchair and more. Select the activity from the in-app list along with the time spent doing that activity to receive your equivalent bonus points. Entries based on the honor system with a maximum one (1) activity entry per day.
CHALLENGE PRIZES ***
Cumulate 75,000+ points by the end of the Challenge and be entered into a drawing for one of three $50 gift cards.

** Bonus Activities: On the bottom of the challenge app's main dashboard, tap the Bonus Activities selector. Click the hypertext link bonus activity name in the webpage descriptions listed above (e.g., Scan-In) to get additional instructions for each activity.
