You are invited to participate in the

2022 AMD Sales Kick Off Wellbeing Challenge


Join this 21-Day virtual Wellbeing Challenge and connect with your peers and take good care of yourself. Race to the top of the leaderboard and advance your own wellbeing. Download the Heka Well app be a part of the action!


21-DAY CHALLENGE: Starts on Sunday, January 23 at 6:00 p.m. CT and

ends on Sunday, February 13 at 6:00 p.m. CT


Participants can track their steps using their smartphone * by pairing with Apple Health on iOS or Phone Step Tracker on Android. Heka Well also tracks step data from Fitbit or Apple Watch.

In addition to your steps, the Wellbeing Challenge is designed to give you opportunities to accumulate more steps by participating in different Bonus Activities including yoga, career goals, practicing gratitude and more. Plus, the app converts your other physical activities (i.e. rowing, biking, or swimming) into steps.


To join, just follow 3 simple steps:

1) Download the "Heka Well" Challenge app

2) Set up your Challenge account

  • Launch the Challenge app and select "ASK Wellbeing Challenge" from the list

  • Complete the in-app registration process

    • Select your Team and earn the chance to donate to the AMD charity of the Team Leader's choice. It is a fun way to compete with other Sales Kick Off participants/teams. The top teams will display on the Team Leaderboard within the app as well as on the Challenge website

  • Pair your step tracker

    • iOS: Track your steps using your iPhone * by pairing with Apple Health. Heka Well also imports step data from Fitbit and Apple Watch

    • Android: Track your steps using your smartphone * by pairing with Phone Step Tracker (note, if you get a "Functionality limited" pop-up just press "OK" as the app does not need location access to track your steps)

3) Start stepping!

  • To sync your step data to the Challenge app, select "Tap to sync steps" at the top of the Summary screen

    • Please make sure you are actively logged into the Challenge app and ​SYNC YOUR STEP DATA FREQUENTLY, AT LEAST ONE TIME PER DAY as some data sources will not provide step data that is over 24 hours old

    • Note that your steps will only count from the time you first pair your tracker

Individual Challenge Prizes  

Prizes will be drawn based on achieving the Challenge Step Goal levels of 100K, 200K, and 300K. All participants that reach a cumulative step goal level listed below by the end of the Challenge will be entered into drawings for a chance to win a prize - one prize available for each Step Level:


  • 100K+ steps - FitBit Sense + 6 month  Premium membership or the cash value of $250

Team Prize

For the Team with the highest average step count at the end of the Challenge, AMD will donate $10,000 to the Team leader’s AMD charity of choice.


All winners will be announced at General Session on Wednesday, February 16, 2022.


One (1) random winner receives a Peloton Bike + one year membership or the cash value of $2,500.

A Winning Strategy

Yes, your team can walk or run for hours; however, we have curated more ways to help you accelerate reaching your wellness goals. You can earn over 100,000 bonus steps to help you push yourself up the leaderboard!

1. Personal Wellbeing - Caring for yourself

Activity Log: You don’t have to walk to land on the top of the leaderboard. With this in-app feature, you work out like you normally do and get steps added to your challenge total. Take a Peloton class, use a rowing machine or do a yoga class and you will accumulate steps.  Look up the activity in the Challenge app and log the time you spent doing the activity and automatically receive the equivalent steps in the Challenge app.

Bonus: Based on activity. (Limit of two entries per day.)

Gratitude Journal: Log 3 things you are grateful for or the positive events that have happened in your day.  Practice journaling for your mind daily to lower your stress levels and feel calmer at night. Journal entries are kept private.

Bonus: 500 steps per day

Healthy Living Videos: Watch and participate in the (4) Healthy Living videos. Click on the video name to play. Using the in-app Scan-In feature, scan the QR code that is displayed at the end of each video, and you will be granted a daily step boost. Note: QR code displays after the "Thank You" frame. (Limit of 1 bonus grant per day per video up to a max of 5 grants per video during the active Challenge period):​


  • Mat YogaGive yourself 15 minutes of zen! Hop on for an all-level flow yoga class. It is accessible and fun for beginners and experienced participants. This short and well-balanced sequence provides you with everything you need to get your daily dose of breath, movement, and mobility. No experience necessary.


  • ​Bodyweight Class: This dynamic bootcamp session will get your heart and blood pumping! Participants will use their own weight to provide resistance for each exercise. We will incorporate body weight, plyometric and core focused movements to get you moving functionally! Class is accessible and fun for everybody - even first-time students.


  • Sleep Education: Three Mindset Shifts to Reclaim Your Sleep. Every human sleeps and at some point in your life you may struggle with sleep. Learn tips on how to get a good night's sleep, learn how to help yourself on those nights you cannot sleep and how to sleep well in a different setting other than your own.


  • Breathwork: Learn how to use your breath to regulate your nervous system! In this session we share accessible and simple breathing techniques to promote relaxation in the body and mind. Leave feeling energized and relaxed!​

Bonus: 2,000 steps per completed video. (Limit of 1 bonus grant per day per video and up to 5 grants per video during the Challenge period.)

2. Social Wellbeing - Caring for others

Chat and Connect: Use the in-app Chat module to interact and connect with your colleagues. Share photos of yourself participating and staying healthy during the AMD Sales Kick Off Wellbeing Challenge. To connect via email with another participant in Chat, tap on any of their messages and send them the Connect Email that is composed for you! Earn bonus steps when Connecting by email.  (Full instructions on Chat and Connect are here.) 

Bonus:  500 steps per connection. (Limit of one bonus grant per day.)


3. Career Wellbeing - Caring for your Career

Scan-In Career Goals: Write down your 3 career goals for 2022 within this Career Goals Form. Using the in-app Scan-In feature, scan the QR code that is displayed after completing your form. It is important we are experiencing growth, personal satisfaction, and enrichment from our work. Write down your career goals at the beginning of the event and at the end and put your career goals in front of you. 


Bonus: 2,500 steps per form. (Limit of two bonus grants during Challenge.)

4. Financial Wellbeing - Caring for your money

Donate: Use the in-app feature to learn more about AMD approved SOS Children’s Villages and, if you are able, donate! We encourage you to educate yourself about this amazing organization.


Bonus: 500 steps. (Limit of 4 bonus grants during Challenge.)

5. Environmental Wellbeing - Caring for Earth

Reduce CO2 Emission: Track estimated reduction of ASK Wellbeing Challengers' carbon footprint real time on the leaderboard and support the AMD environmental effort. We need to know and understand the scope of our climate footprint and the impact of our actions. Not redeemable for bonus points.



The Leaderboard (also available within the app) is refreshed approximately every 10 minutes once the Challenge has started.
