Join the Ellucian 2023 Step Challenge in New Orleans
Engage in some friendly competition with your peers as you work your way up the Leaderboard and earn chances to win prizes.

The Ellucian Step Challenge starts on Monday, March 27 at 12:01 a.m. CDT and ends on Wednesday, March 29 at noon CDT.
TO JOIN
1) Download the Heka Well app:
2) Set up your Challenge account

Launch the app and choose "Ellucian 2023 Step Challenge" from the list

Complete the in-app registration process

Pair your supported activity tracker

Anyone can track their steps using their smartphone* by pairing with Apple Health on iOS or Google Fit on Android. (You must have the Apple Health or Google Fit app installed on your phone and tracking your steps before pairing.)

The Challenge app also imports step data from Fitbit, Garmin and Apple Watch.

3) Start Stepping!

To sync your step data from your tracker to the Challenge app select "Tap to sync steps" at the top of the Summary screen.

Sync your step data frequently, at least once daily. Some step trackers do not transfer step data that is over 24 hours old.
BONUS ACTIVITY
Engage in activities and earn bonus steps to help you achieve your goals. You will earn bonus steps for each completed activity. Once the Challenge has started, press the Bonus Activities** selector in the Heka Well app.
Scan-In: Use the in-app Scan-In module, and scan the QR code for a one-time step boost available at the following locations:

Podcast = 1,500 steps

Swipe Out Hunger Booth: Visit the booth = 3,500 steps

Swag Store: Take a picture at the store = 1,500 steps

Ellucian Booth = 3,500 steps
PRIZES
Step Level Goals
All participants who reach the following cumulative Step Levels at the end of the Challenge will be entered into random drawings for prizes. You will be entered into the drawing only for the highest Step Level you reach.
Level 1: 25,000+ steps: Beats Solo 3 Wireless Headphones, 6 random winners
Level 2: 35,000+ steps: Yeti 35 Hard Cooler, 6 random winners
Level 3: 45,000+ steps: Apple Watch Series 8, 6 random winners
Prize winners will be contacted via email after the challenge has ended.
CHALLENGE LEADERBOARD
The Leaderboard below (also viewable in the app) rotates among the Top 25 steppers. The Leaderboard is refreshed approximately every 10 minutes once the Challenge has started.
