We invite you to participate in the PCMA Wellbeing Challenge brought to you by Destination Cleveland and powered by Heka Health at PCMA Convening Leaders 2024
Participate in a range of wellbeing activities and enjoy some healthy competition with your peers. Earn chances to win prizes for reaching Challenge Goals and working your way up the leaderboard.
The Wellbeing Challenge starts on Monday, January 8 at 12:01 a.m. PT and ends on Tuesday, January 9 at 11:59 p.m. PT.
1) Download the "Heka Well" Challenge app
2) Set up your Challenge account
Launch the Challenge app and select "PCMA CL24" from the list
Complete the in-app registration process
Pair your step tracker
Anyone with a smartphone* can track their steps:

To sync your step data to the Challenge app, select "Tap to sync points" at the top of the Summary screen
Please make sure you are actively logged into the Challenge app and SYNC YOUR STEP DATA FREQUENTLY, AT LEAST ONE TIME PER DAY as some data sources will not provide step data that is over 24 hours old
Stop by the Wellbeing Challenge Desk (near registration in the Convention Center on Sunday, January 7 and then in the Engage area of the District near Destination Cleveland's activation for the rest of the event) to get your sign-up gift and Wellbeing Challenge pin to identify you to fellow Challengers so you can "Social Connect" with them to earn bonus points.
Engage in wellbeing activities and earn bonus points to help you achieve your goals. You will earn bonus points for each completed activity. Once the Challenge has started, tap the Bonus Activities button in the Challenge App.**
Social Connect: earn 500 bonus points per connection (up to 25 total connections). Just stop by the Wellbeing Challenge Desk to pick up your Wellbeing Challenge pin to identify you to fellow Challengers and then connect with them via your Challenge app and learn what they are interested in learning from others at this event.
Gratitude Journal: Use the app and enter the 3 things you are grateful for or the positive events that have happened in your day. Practice your journaling daily to lower stress levels and feel calmer at night. You will automatically receive 1,000 bonus points per day for completing your journal entries.
Scan-In: earn 1,000 bonus points for scanning the QR codes at the following activities
Monday & Tuesday
Destination Cleveland: Stop by Destination Cleveland's activation in the Engage area of the District to say hello (limit 1 scan per day).
Heka Health: Stop by the Wellbeing Challenge desk, near Destination Cleveland's activation, to learn how to custom-design your own Wellbeing Experience to support and stay connected with your community and drive new sponsorship and fundraising revenue (limit 1 scan per day).
Get Fit with the Foundation: Fun Run/Walk (6:30 AM – 7:45 AM): a 5K run/walk through San Diego's beautiful scenery with fellow CL24 attendees. Registration required, manage registration at conveningleaders.org/registration.
Get Fit with the Foundation: All Fitness Levels Bootcamp (7:00 AM – 7:45 AM): Join us for a "sweatworking" opportunity to meet industry friends. Walk along the Bay on the Embarcadero trail for a full body workout focused on optimizing your mindset, endurance, and strength training. Using your own body weight, experience the benefits of fat burning and muscle toning while enjoying the seaside fresh air in this fun fitness experience. Registration required, manage registration at conveningleaders.org/registration.
The Closet @ Monarch School (school for unhouse kids and teens K – 12th grade) (all day drop-in): 100 shoes will be set in the District for participants to paint/decorate. All shoes will be donated to the closet at the Monarch school. A free place for homeless kids to go to “shop” for high necessity needs. Typically, a teacher notices holes or no shoes and allows the kids to visit the closet and pick out their own giving them a dignified shopping experience.
Sounds Bath (7:00 AM – 7:45 AM): A unique escape from the hustle and bustle of conference life! This meditative sound bath will help you achieve a deeper state of relaxation, leading to better sleep, reduced stress levels, and improved mood. Athleisure or athletic wear recommended. Registration required, manage registration at conveningleaders.org/registration.
Food Bag Assembly for the Homeless (Time TBD): Food assembly lines will be set in the District for participants to create “Food Bags”. 100-200 Food bags (consisting of sandwich, bottled water, fruit, granola bar, etc.). The food bags will be distributed same day through either PATH or the Alpha Project to those who are living on the street and can’t get to a food bank/shelter.
Challenge Prizes ***
Point Level Goal Attainment Prizes: When you hit each the 15K, 25K and 35K cumulative point levels, stop by Destination Cleveland's activation in the Engage area of the District to pick up your wellbeing prize for that level!
Top of the Leaderboard Prize: the participant at the top of the leaderboard at the end of the Challenge wins a Vitamix blender. Prize winner will also be contacted via email.
