Participate in a range of wellness activities and enjoy some healthy competition with your peers. Earn chances to win prizes for reaching Challenge Goals and working your way up the leaderboard. The Challenge starts Friday, May 15 at 12:01 am CT and ends Monday, May 18 at 11:59 pm CT.
In addition to competing as an individual, you can form a team and compete against other teams based on average steps. See how you stack up against your teammates on the Team Leaderboard.

1) Download the "AAPA 2026 Step Up Challenge" app
2) Complete the in-app registration and pair your activity tracker *

Create your own Team, join an existing Team, or select "No Team". Your team can compete against other Teams based on average points. View the Team rankings along with the rankings of your teammates in the Team Leaderboard. (NOTE: Teams need to have a minimum of three active team members to qualify to be on the team leaderboard and a maximum of twenty members. Participants cannot join or switch teams during the last 24 hours of the Challenge. Please email info@hekahealth.com if there are any adjustments needed for your team.)

BONUS ACTIVITES
Engage in wellness activities and earn bonus points to help you achieve your goals. Once the Challenge has started, tap the Bonus Activities button at the bottom of the Challenge App and then select the Scan-In option.
Scan-In: Scan QR codes at the following locations DAILY to earn 1,000 bonus steps per scan:
1) Project Innovation Exchange in the Expo
2) Activity Zone in the Expo
3) Main Stage Events on Level 2, La Nouvelle Orleans Ballroom
4) Mindfulness Lounge™ on Level 3, Room 334
PRIZES
All participants that reach a cumulative Step Goal Level listed below by the end of the Challenge will be entered into drawings for a chance to win a prize. You will be entered into the drawing only for the highest Step Level you reach. There are two drawings per each level:

55,000+ steps: (1) Complimentary AAPA 2027 registration; (1) Complimentary 5-night hotel stay for AAPA 2027
The members of the Final Top Team on the Leaderboard will win AAPA Branded Swag (NOTE: Teams need to have a minimum of three active team members to qualify to be on the team leaderboard and a maximum of twenty members. Participants cannot join or switch teams during the last 24 hours of the Challenge. Please email info@hekahealth.com if there are any adjustments needed for your team).
Prize winners will be announced in the morning on Tuesday, May 19 at the Leaderboard in the Attendee Lounge on level 1, room E2 of the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center and notified via email. Prize winners must be registered attendees of AAPA 2026. Maximum of one prize per Step Up Challenge participant.
