Wellness Challenge
Join the IAAO Wellness Challenge and enjoy some healthy fun with your peers as you work your way up the leaderboard and earn chances to win prizes. The Challenge starts on Sunday, August 25 at 12:01 a.m. MT and ends Wednesday, August 28 at 11:59 p.m. MT.

JOIN
1) Download the free "Heka Well" Challenge app
2) Set up your Challenge account

Launch the Challenge app and select "IAAO Wellness" from the list

Complete the in-app registration process

Pair your step tracker
-
Anyone with a smartphone* can track their steps:

Apple iPhone: select iPhone
-
Android Phone: utilizing your Google Account with your phone or Google Fit app or Samsung Health via Google's beta version of Health Connect

Heka Well also tracks step data from Apple Watch, Fitbit, and Garmin
-
3) Start moving
-
To sync your step data to the Challenge app, select "Tap to sync points" at the top of the Summary screen

Please make sure you are actively logged into the Challenge app and SYNC YOUR STEP DATA FREQUENTLY, AT LEAST ONE TIME PER DAY as some data sources will not provide step data that is over 24 hours old

4) Connect:

Stop by the registration desk to get your Wellness Challenge sticker to identify you to fellow participants so you can "Social Connect" with them to earn bonus points.


BONUS ACTIVITIES
Engage in wellbeing activities and earn bonus points to help you achieve your goals. You will earn bonus points for each completed activity. Once the Challenge has started, tap the Bonus Activities button at the bottom of the Challenge App.**
Social Connect: earn 500 bonus points per connection (up to 50 total connections). Just stop by the registration desk to pick up your Wellness Challenge sticker to identify you to fellow Challenge participants and then connect with them via your Challenge app and learn what they are interested in learning from others at this event.


Donate: click on the in-app donate button to find out more about the Barbara Brunner Memorial Trust and receive a one-time 1,000 bonus points (Donations are greatly encouraged but not required).
Gratitude Journal: Use the app and enter the 3 things you are grateful for each day. Practice your journaling daily to lower stress levels and feel calmer at night. You will automatically receive 1,000 bonus points per day for completing your journal entries.
Scan-In: earn 1,000 bonus points for using the Challenge app to scan each of the QR codes at the following locations (limit one scan per day at each location):

Final Top 10 Leaderboard Prize
The final top 10 on the leaderboard at the end of the Challenge will be entered into a random drawing for a $150 e-gift card to Dick’s Sporting Goods (sent via email).
Step Goal Prizes
All participants that reach 40K+ cumulative points by the end of the Challenge will be entered into a random drawing for one of two $75 e-gift cards to Dick’s Sporting Goods (sent via email).
Winners will be announced via email by Wednesday, September 5. Only registered attendees of IAAO 2024 are eligible for the prize drawings.
